Q: What is the upside-down kingdom?
A: There is a world out there, very different from the one where most of us strive to live. In it, even the most far off wanderers find a place. Everything is upside-down, completely opposite from the ads we were sold all along. Jesus was right: it is the poor, the sick, the sad, and the oppressed who are the blessed in our world. He said it was to them that his kingdom was coming, and it was to them that it would be actual, real good news.
I have been searching for this kingdom all my life.
